What is Live Painting?

Live Painting has been growing in its popularity! Live Painting is an experience/performance. Normally the patron will commission the artist to paint a picture for them, but in addition, to paint it live at their event for the amusement of guests. It surely is an experience to watch an artist at work AND to keep the art that was created!

What kind of events have a Live Painter?

This list is not exhaustive, but I’d love to be your painter for the following:

Frequently Asked Questions…

  • Totally depends on the event! I have done a 15 minute worship set, a 4 hour cocktail, whereas a full wedding would be up 7 hours. Each event will require different things, just let me know what time you want me to fill- this will impact the pricing.

  • It can be! Depending on how much needs to be painted within a given time, painters will often prep the canvas with most of the painting already done, so that they can be sure to finish within the time given. Or if you don’t mind on receiving the finished product later, I will finish touch ups at home.

  • The cost can range anywhere from $600-$3000.

    Weddings, portraits are typically priced higher for the different needs and preciseness required.
